Sunday, May 4 at 10:30 am The First Great Awakening – Rev. Dawn Sangrey From 1730 to 1760 in the American colonies, a spirit of religious revival swept through the land, offering salvation to thousands of our Calvinist forebears and laying the groundwork for the American revolution, including the separation of church and state and the importance of individual rights. These intense religious outbursts are often caricatured and rarely appreciated for their contributions.
Sunday, May 11 at 10:30 am Mother’s Day – Peg and Graham Clarke Broad-breasted Gaia, Mother Earth, arose as the everlasting foundation for all of life, according to Greek mythology. She is the one who feeds, nurtures and sustains existence. And she’s in trouble. This service will call attention to a deep spirituality of the Earth, our mother and grandmother, in both word and song. Peg Clarke is a candidate for Unitarian Universalist ministry and the student minister at the Unitarian Fellowship of Northern Westchester in Mount Kisco. Her husband, Graham, is an amazing musician and performer.
Saturday, May 17 at 7:30 pm Social Action Film and Discussion: Anti-Semitism in the 21st Century--the Resurgence. The public is invited to attend.
Sunday, May 18 at 10:30 am Letting Go – Prue Berry and Rev. Dawn Sangrey Our guest speaker has recently completed 27 years of service at Rowe Camp and Conference Center, a Unitarian Universalist facility in the Berkshires. She is a wonderful wise woman, one of the most disarming humans on the planet. Her topic is “Letting Go.”

Tuesday, May 20 at 7:30 pm The Book Club, will discuss: “Reading Lolita in Tehran.” Azar Nafisi wrote this memoir about her life in Iran after the revolution. For two years after she was forced out of her job as a professor at the the University of Tehran she taught literature in clandestine classes in her home.
Sunday, May 25 at 10:30 am Memorial Day Weekend – Informal Gathering for conversation and "coffee."
