Children and Youth

"The great end in religious instruction is not to stamp our minds irresistibly upon the young but to stir up their own."

~Rev. William Ellery Channing (1780-1842), father of American Unitarianism
Children at Fourth Unitarian Universalist Congregation are welcome to remain in the sanctuary. We are not offering childcare at this time.

Children's Rainbow of Seven UU Principles

We believe…
  • Every person is important and valuable. (Red)
  • All people should be treated fairly. (Orange)
  • Our churches are places where we should accept one another and learn together. (Yellow)
  • Each person should be free to search for what is true and right. (Green)
  • All people have the right to speak out and vote on things that matter to them. (Blue)
  • We should help build a peaceful, fair and free world. (Indigo)
  • We need to take care of the earth, the home we share with all living things. (Violet)
